Club Scrap March Blog Hop And Linky Party With Delft Kit

Hi Everyone,

Welcome to Club Scrap Blog Hop and Linky Party with gorgeous Delft Kit. Before we get started if you came from Julie's Blog you came from the right place. If you didn't you can start at the beginning with Karen from Club Scrap's Blog

Finished card measures 4 1/4" x 5 1/2" folded

I just love the cracked stamp and had to use it. I heat embossed it on plain paper and created a resist with distress inks matching the blues from the patterned paper. I stamped the house and sentiment stamp with distress ink in blue. This makes for a nice house warming card. Topped it off with the gorgeous ribbon. All product is from the kit except the distress ink and embossing powder.

Finished card measures 4 1/4" x 5 1/2"

For this card I created a background design using the cracked stencil with texture paste. Once dry I colored over the texture paste with distress inks. I used the cut-a-part for the center of my card. I embossed the sentiment in white on the navy plain cardstock. I topped it off with the super big yellow ribbon.

For this card once again I created a background I used the cracked stencil with texture paste. Once dry I added color with the new Oxide inks then sprayed with water. I just love the effect. I added a cut-a-part in the center and added a ribbon with a bow at the bottom.

Club Scrap March Artist Team Challenge With Delft Kit

Hi Everyone,

Welcome back to another Club Scrap Artist Team Challenge. The Challenge this month is to create projects that incorporate the digital kit. I chose to go all the way and use most elements with the digital kit. Before we start if you came from Lisa's Blog you came from the right place. If you didn't you can start at the beginning with Karen from Club Scrap's Blog.

Finished card measures 4 1/4" x 5 1/2" folded

I printed the digital design backgrounds on white cardstock. I used the colored plain cardstock from the paper kit. The base of the card is using the plain cardstock. All printed design are matted with plain paper and adhered to the card like a regular paper kit. Added some ribbon and crystal nuvo drops for some eye candy.

Finshed card measures 4 1/4" x 5 1/2" folded.

Once again I printed the design backgrounds on white cardstock and used the plain colored cardstock from the paper kit. I layered it as I would from a paper kit. I diecut the flower and added a crystal nuvo drop to the center.

I love using the digital kit for my Happy Planner. I print the design on a sticker sheet then trim down to size to fit in the rectangles. Easy Peasy!

Thanks for stopping by. Now head on over to Roni's Blog for more exciting projects using the Digital Kit.

Elizabeth Craft Designs Fabulous Florals Coloring Team Challenge

Hi Everyone,

Welcome to the March Coloring Challenge for Elizabeth Craft Designs. This month's Challenge is Fabulous Florals. By now you have seen lots of samples showcasing Krista Schneider's coloring stamps and matching stamp sets. My card is using the Flower Power clear stamp. Here is the link to the Elizabeth Craft Designs Coloring Challenge Blog. There is an awesome giveaway to 3 lucky winners. Be sure you leave a comment for a chance to win.

Below are the steps to replicate this card.

  1. Cut base of card with plain cardstock 8 1/2" x 5 1/2", then fold in half. Finished card measures 4 1/4" x 5 1/2" folded.
  2. Stamp Flower Power with embossing ink on water color paper. (2 times side by side)
  3. Sprinkle white or clear embossing powder then heat with heat tool.
  4. Using Color Burst sprinkle colors of your choice and then spray generously with water. (if you don't have color burst then use inks of your choice - distress ink is a good substitute, just replace watercolor paper with soft finish cardstock in white) Set aside to dry. Once dry adhere to center of the card.
  5. Diecut border frame with Dotted Scallop Rectangles and Fitted Rectangles Die on plain cardstock. It's best to use masking tape to hold both dies together when cutting. Adhere to center of the card using pop ups.
  6. Stamp sentiment with Dream Clear Stamp Sentiments, trim and adhere to bottom right using pop ups. See picture below.

Thank you for stopping by. Now head on over to the Elizabeth Craft Designs Blog to see what the rest of the Design Team has created.

Club Scrap Delft Kit and Mojo Monday 487 Sketch Challenge

Hi Everyone,

Today I am I am showing you a card made with Club Scrap's Delft Kit and Mojo Monday 487 Sketch Challenge. I have to say I love using sketches as inspiration because it pushes me from my usual style.

Mojo Monday Sketch #487

Finished card - measures 4 1/4" x 5 1/2" folded

I used the Digital Delft Kit. I printed the designs on white cardstock. Trimmed and adhered like regular paper kit. I used the Curvy Leaves die from Elizabeth Craft Designs and used my SNC2 for the matting on plain paper. Here's a tip. Cut your shape with the diecut and to have it matted use the SNC as a scan and then place the plain paper on the mat and add a border. I used this for the half circle and small circle. It worked like a charm.
